Sometimes I really don't understand other stores' practices!

Five Below likes to send emails telling of new items you can buy. This is perfectly normal for stores. What isn't normal is clicking on the items and then being told on the website that they're not really available for purchase either in the stores or online. This has happened more than once and it is very annoying. Sometimes, however, the website is wrong.

Yesterday I went there to find out. It seemed like the website was right. The workers said they didn't think they had any Mario shirts. Maybe some plush. I hadn't seen any plush except two Fire Marios that were smaller than advertised and both dirty.

Tonight I went back and dug deep into the plush and shirt sections. I found other plush, still too small for the price. The listing said 8 inches for $7. They looked more like 6 inches, but they rang up as $7. I'd rather pay $10 for the plush Target has that actually are 8 or 9 inches.

The shirt section was frustrating. There were quite a few shirts aside from the ones shown at the top, and even a Yu-Gi-Oh! shirt no longer listed on the website at all, but no Mario shirts. Still not willing to give up, I walked down the aisle and found some kids' shirts just beyond the makeup. Behold, Mario shirts were there! Including the one I wanted, in the perfect adult size!

... And it rang up as a Buzz Lightyear shirt because it had the wrong tag on it. Go figure.
